What to do after completing my course?
The most common reason for completing a Real Estate course, is to apply for a Registration or Licence with the Office of Fair Trading Queensland. Once you have the completion documents from PRET, the next step is to apply with Office of Fair Trading.
Register as a real estate salesperson
Apply for a real estate agent licence
How long does Office of Fair Trading take to process my Registration or Licence application?
Processing time is 4 - 6 weeks. This can take longer if your application is not complete. This might be because of:- Missing information
- Unpaid fees
Please contact Office of Fair Trading Queensland if you have any concerns about your application.
What is the difference between the Registration Salesperson course and Full Real Estate Agent Licence course?

After I finish my course, how long until PRET issues my completion documents?
Once your trainer has advised of successful completion. PRET will issue your completion documents within 5 business days. This process may be delayed if payment has not been received.
Can I come back and review the course after I complete?
